IN THE NEWS! ANTHROPOSOPHICAL ARCHITECTURE
In the Rotterdam Kunsthal the exhibition 'Rudolf Steiner, Alchemy of the Everyday' will be on display until Januari 11. Steiner was the founder of anthroposophy, an all-encompassing, spiritual filosophy, that had its influences on art, education, medical care and agriculture. In the Netherlands anthroposophical or organic architecture mainly became known by the work of the architect Ton Alberts. But already in the 1920's architects were inspired by Steiner's ideas. Out of the collection of 2500 projects, Architectureguide.nl chose twelve examples of anthroposophical buildings in the Netherlands.
