Here you can find the highlights of Dutch architecture from 1800 until the present day.

The Netherlands Build in Brick
Until April 26th Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam shows historic photo's of buildings that were part of the 1941 exhibition 'Nederland Bouwt in Baksteen' (The Netherlands Build in Brick). Both traditional and modernistic examples nuance the image of Dutch prewar architecture as exclusively made of glass, steel and concrete.
Nice photo's, certainly, but it is even nicer to visit the buildings in reality.
Architectureguide.nl made a selection of some fifty brick highlights from the original exhibition. Big chance that you will find one nearby.
