The Body House belongs among the three rows of seven houses in Parkkwartier built thanks to private patronage. An opaque plinth of bedroom and bathroom is closed off at the entrance side by a wood front with a barely visible pivoting door and on the garden side by a concrete wall with beyond it a patio. The body of the house is held in a steel cage placed between the two walls of the neighbouring houses. It contains the principal functions - living room, kitchen, stairs - as well as plant and air conditioning ductwork. The frame is sealed inside and out with wood fibre panels with a pale blue epoxy finish. In the second O of the words Body House on the front facade is a grate through which fresh air is blown in.
