Aesthetic standards obtaining in this up-market residential area in the Gooi region required a brick building with a sloping roof. On the face of it these office premises seem to comply in terms of form and materials. But the yellow tiles and repeating window bands on both the facade and the roof and the highly abstract detailing without gutters or edges have an alienating effect. The underground parking facility is connected to a tiled courtyard. Inside, glass wall partitions predominate; 50 rooflights and a central well above the stair deliver daylight deep into the building.
