Architectural Events in Groningen

For the event ‘What a Wonderful World! Music videos in architecture’ in 1990, five pavilions were built in which videoclips were shown. Only two remain in the city of Groningen, a glass pavilion by Bernard Tschumi and the OMA bus stop. The pavilions by Coop Himmelb(l)au and Zaha Hadid were removed and stored after the event was finished. The pavilion by Zaha Hadid was reconstructed in 2007 in Appingedam; the pavilion by Coop Himmelb(l)au was reconstructed in Delfzijl. The pavilion by Peter Eisenman is lost.
