The aim here was to introduce a modern building into a historical context aided by precast concrete elements (columns, beams, floor slabs and parapets). Inside the building are 'kantoortuinen' (office landscapes) designed to a small-scale module (2.5 x 2.5 m. and 5 x 5 m.). The street elevation is a typical example of seventies architecture, with its blurred distinction between individual dwelling units and the office block as a whole.
