The 260 metre long Civil Engineering faculty building contains office and work areas plus a number of drawing rooms with varying ceiling heights. On the first floor is a roomy corridor offering access to all spaces including the library, the canteen, an exhibition hall and the conspicuous, projecting lecture theatres. Laboratories behind the building are reached by bridges. The structure consists of portal trusses, two columns 7.2 metres apart supporting a prestressed concrete beam cantilevering some 6 metres at each end.
