The only feature to recall the site's railway past is the steel turning span of a railway swing bridge from 1922, standing permanently open on a pivot pier. After removing the counterweight and adding a trestle structure, a restaurant could be built on the bridge deck. A lightweight steel structure, it is connected to the abutment by a new bridge equipped with stairs and a lift.
