Based on an original design by Van Klingeren for another location, co-worker Mulder made a new one for this block in Lelystad town centre. It adjoined raised bicycle and pedestrian routes. Each of its functions (swimming-bath, sports hall, community centre, chapel, bar-restaurant, and theatre) had its own position and (steel) structure which enabled the block to be built in phases. Its visual focal point has always been the exposed timber structure of the central inner court. The building was demolished and replaced by the Agora Theatre by Ben van Berkel.
