This house consists of a pair of brickwork blocks joined by a glazed portion. The larger block contains rooms for sleeping and working. A transparent passage, separated from an enclosed stair unit by a freestanding brickwork screen, runs along this block. The less-tall of the two contains the living room, blankwalled on three sides so as to limit one's choice to a view across the water. A sophisticated freestanding boathouse completes the composition.
