This office building is in two blocks of dissimilar length linked by a corridor and a monumental entrance where two roads meet. The circular stair and conference hall above the entrance are clearly accentuated. The concrete frame, plainly visible within the offices, is obscured outside by dark, massive elevations of brown brick in mosaic patterns. Less than two years later Mertens was to produce his ultra-modern Haka Building. The building has since been converted into a school by Jeanne Dekkers of EGM Architecten, who introduced a greater spatiality and splashes of colour to its interior.
