BUILDING TYPE:
Buildings for education

This school building is the result of a merger between three prevocational secondary schools. To these are added a gym that can also be used outside school hours. Basically a truncated pyramid, the building's facades combine vertical strips of fenestration with a variety of claddings, the whole tied in place by a ribbon spiralling up with no regard for the spaces inside. The ground floor contains the gym and a few larger workplaces. Above these, classrooms assemble round a central light court. The main entrance zone, accessed from a rising embankment, is also upstairs.
