The two Rotterdam churches designed by the architects B. and W. Lengkeek have much in common, including a square base plane and a large concrete-framed stained-glass window by the Rotterdam artist Johan Verheij. The Vredevorstkerk in Schiebroek dating from 1964 has a steep gable roof and the church in Springerstraat an exceedingly steep pitched roof. Its window depicts the Resurrection (Verrijzenis). This church can accommodate 450 worshippers. A rudiment of a bell-tower can be seen on a corner of the plot. The building has been extended with a low-rise portion.
