The square mass of this church has a small block tucked beneath it containing the verger's residence and various ancillary spaces. The entrance zone can become a meeting centre by separating it from the 1.7 metre taller main space using a folding partition. The concrete main structure has an infill that alternates horizontal precast concrete slats set at an angle to keep out sunlight, with strips of single glazing in two layers. In an earlier church in The Hague (Christus Triumfator, Juliana van Stolberglaan 154, 1962) Drexhage applied comparable concrete elements but then vertically.
