An existing shopping centre has been extended with an elongated portion of megastores sporting a canopy with billboards and a sheltered zone of 55 home furnishing stores to form this retail area the size of the Lijnbaan. The oblong three-storey interior mall enfolds the Polderhuis, a residence dating from 1932. All its shops are accessed from inside the building off galleries ranged along an elongated central void. The exterior bristles with materials and flamboyant features including a concrete spiral to the parking deck and an artwork.
