BUILDING TYPE:
Special accommodation

These two towers of 84 and 75 metres high are linked by a basement which is itself connected to the extension to Ichthus University (now Inholland). This extension will oversail the metro track as a bridge building between the two Cité towers and the existing school building. Cité is to house 494 relatively small rented units plus a fitness gym, a squash court, eating and drinking establishments and meeting rooms. The project seeks to provide short- and longer-term accommodation in the city for young people with an extravert lifestyle. Recesses in the facade enable those inside the building to find their bearings.
