Set on a very sharp corner, these units housing one to two persons exemplify the many infills of small gaps in Amsterdam's urban redevelopment. The clashing geometries of the two extremely narrow blocks have been intelligently resolved by the taller block's cantilevered gallery heads and the mock facades, a play of form in which even the traditional Amsterdam lifting beam is an integral part.
