BUILDING TYPE:
Urban renewal

The rehabilitation of this district from the sixties involved renovating the 285 metre long Agaatflat (1969) and densifying the urban plan with ten small 'villas'. On their ground floor, together with storerooms and two rentable garages, is a single dwelling with a roofed terrace; the floor above contains two units and a roof garden. These modest urban villas have harmonious proportions and a refinement of detail that focuses particularly on the sequence of coloured plasterwork that successfully combines with the High-Tech stair and roof structure.
