This town theatre has three principal features: a main auditorium seating 1200, a medium auditorium or ‘black box’ seating 500 and a small studio theatre. The two big auditoria and their fly towers dominate the parti yet are tempered and stitched together by the undulating roof. The three theatre components stand in line and are accessed on the same side from an extended glazed-in foyer zone giving onto a café and an art-cinema.
