This H-shaped building houses a primary school and a centre for multiple handicapped children who require a quiet, stimulus-free environment. The two institutes share just a partition wall and otherwise are fully autonomous. The playground includes a kind of platform erected above the cycle shed. There is also a gym on the upper floor, above two play rooms. Above that is a fully fenced-in sports area. All in all, the architect has succeeded in injecting a taller feature into the sea of low-rise, as a landmark in the district. If the school's exterior locks into the surrounding housing, its interior is one big splash of colour.
