Five residential towers on the https://www.architectureguide.nl/project/item/prj_id/1771" class="inline_link">Chassé site on top of a parking facility are accessed from a central courtyard. Seemingly huddled together at random, their positions are in fact precisely calculated to meet such considerations as views, privacy, sunlighting and transparency of the total ensemble. The facades of each tower are by turns enclosed and exposed. The more mute wall areas have large concrete cladding panels arranged in courses and interspersed with window openings; the black panels have slate reliefs embedded in them. Behind the glazed facades can be seen the zigzag lines of the concrete supporting structure.
