Double concrete piers and separate gable roofs emphasize the position of the three screw jacks with their drive-boxes and motors. The service rooms are situated above the screw jacks. Windows inclined forward offer a clear view of the flow of water. In two linked octagonal volumes are the boilerhouse, staff quarters and a meeting room. The site is sealed off by two rectangular blocks of maintenance facilities and living quarters.
