The building of the Arts Academy consists of three main blocks on a square site with a symmetry axis along the diagonal. All rooms face a central meeting space with a public roof terrace. This creates a compact, introverted whole: a citadel. The lecture rooms, volumes of double height with a mezzanine level, receive an assortment of lighting mainly via roof lights. All 150 spaces are different, further emphasized outside by the cappings, ornamentation and facades.
