Van Gool's extension to the https://www.architectureguide.nl/project/item/prj_id/542" class="inline_link">Giro Office feeds into the existing structure with a low-rise portion that follows the building line. The freely subdivisible office floors have a gently tilted curtain wall and jutting brick volumes containing interview rooms, relaxation areas, staircases and toilets. The building tapers, most notably at the billowing forms of restaurant, entrance and relaxation zone. The spacing of columns in the offices looks chaotic, with several octagons rotating about a raised square central portion.
