These dwellings constitute an experiment with an industrialized building system using a maximum of synthetic materials. The system has structural facade columns supporting a steel space frame and storey-high interchangeable wall panels, all based on a grid of 1.2 metres. The sole fixed elements are the kitchen, bathroom and toilet. All remaining walls can be moved around, so that the living spaces about a central atrium can be constantly adapted to suit changing circumstances.
