Within an oval roundabout leading traffic to the bridge across the river Rhine, sculptor Peter Struycken laid out an environmental artwork which in his own words 'only really looks good from the air'. Here an empty expanse of parking space has been paved with blue and white lines creating an undulating, almost rippling landscape. Struycken also acted as a consultant during renovation of the quay wall along the Rhine.
