This scheme, implemented as an alternative to a nine-storey apartment building, is a composition of interlinked ring-shaped blocks accessed per storey from a central stairwell. The rings rest on a concrete slab open in the middle, with storage and parking space below. The basic premise, medium-rise with a high accommodation density and a maximum of unit differentiation, has in this case yielded a complexity bordering on the chaotic.
