Spaces in the 'Sonnehuys' are ranged around an oval stair in the corner of the main block, daylight entering them via the roof. On the garden side of the house is a semi-circular stair reaching from a terrace on the principal upper floor along a glazed conservatory to the lower-lying garden. Peutz's individual approach to the Functionalist idiom is after years of neglect the subject of renewed appreciation since the 80s.
