The home this member of OD 205 designed for himself is unquestionably influenced by Mies van der Rohe's Farnsworth House. Meticulously detailed in steel and glass, it is a clear statement of the technically advanced architecture of the Delft firm. The main floor is 1.75 metres above street level and comprises one large space for living, working and sleeping, divided by sliding partitions and with separate capsules for the wet cells. The lower, half-sunken level contains bedrooms and a garage.
