Automation for this railway post office meant tall work areas with a minimum of columns. Its width of 34 metres is spanned in concrete supported by just one central column. There are less-tall office storeys on the east and west sides. In the double-height work areas, the scale is determined by a horizontal window rising 2.1 metres. The uppermost level, 9.5 metres high and without columns, is clearly expressed in the facade by brick and concrete architecture typical of the post-war reconstruction. The railway post office's move to the city outskirts has left this building without a use.
