This modern canal house comprises business premises in the basement, three standard flats, and a luxury two-storey flat at the top. Apartments are reached from a circular staircase and lift in the core. The facade of this unobtrusive, well-proportioned building is assembled from precast concrete elements. The design was rejected 14 times by the local vetting committee.
