The 230 units in this chunky city block assemble round a garden court. The street level has been kept free for retail and entrances by locating the necessary parking facilities partly underground and partly on the first floor. Two double-height entrance porticoes stand at two diagonally opposite corners. The building's height and massing take account of the https://www.architectureguide.nl/project/item/prj_id/24" class="inline_link">Laurenskerk next door, for example the three uppermost storeys of penthouses and large terraces are set back from the facade line. The first eight storeys have a cladding of greyish-orange brick and a gently repeating pattern of ribbon windows.
