This furniture depot was housed in several storeys in view of the limited space on site, the surrounding factory premises having been retained. Two centrally placed goods lifts for carrying furniture combine with the main stair in an all-concrete core that thrusts up far above the concrete-framed building. Facades have an infill of brick and steel-framed windows. The warehouse walls have a narrow strip of glass for daylight; two of their brick courses have been replaced by hefty concrete lintels. Larger windows are used for the offices on the third floor and for the showrooms on the seventh and eighth floors.
