Urban plans
This complex divides into two almost identical modest neighbourhoods of three-storey blocks of gallery-access flats laid out in open rows. Some two-storey blocks of duplexes complete the picture. The architecture of these simply conceived dwellings suffered dreadfully during renovation, what with plastered exteriors, PVC window frames and unsubtle new entrances combined with lifts. On the other hand, the provision of fences closing off the ensembles of units about a shared courtyard is an improvement. The fences recede where there are wall tablets.
