Two islands in this sector of https://www.architectureguide.nl/project/item/prj_id/1702" class="inline_link">Ypenburg have had patio dwellings designed for them by https://www.architectureguide.nl/project/item/prj_id/2163" class="inline_link">John Bosch and MVRDV. MVRDV's contribution consists of a large urban slice divided into 12 elongated strips each containing four patio dwellings. All units occupy a long zone along the patios. The facade on this side, the only one able to accept windows, is entirely of glass. All rooms, including the bathroom and toilets, abut this facade and have a full-height view of the patio. The upper level is given over to bedrooms and roof terraces.
