The last phase of the reconstruction and extension of the Schiecentrale consists of two high rise slabs met 7000 m2 office space, 156 living-working units and 20 quay houses. Further facilities are a supermarket, a gym-room, parking, a semi-public deck with sun terrace, tribune and playground. The façade of the highrise apartments is made of glazed ‘harmonica’ frames that can be opened fully. The façade along the entrance galleries is made of woven steel fabric and attached storerooms.
