Here 380 houses are packed together in a garden village ambience, separated from the surroundings by a five-storey apartment block and a quartet of residential towers. The tooth-and-gap disposition of dwellings on the north side is refreshing visually if detrimental to sunlighting in places. The facades sport brick plinths below rendering in various shades; jutting bays add a vertical touch.
