In this experimental housing scheme the four collaborating architects realized a district of 535 low-rise dwellings with a high accommodation density. Units are concentrated around traffic-free courts. The transition from public street to private domain has been sensitively orchestrated, partly through the use of roofed entry zones. Narrow, sheltered interior streets nestle between the rows of back-to-back housing.
