The 195 sheltered housing units in this complex occupy two elongated L-shaped wings. One block is four storeys high, the other slopes down from twelve to four storeys. The supportive services - physiotherapist, speech therapist, dietitian, doctor, dentist, hairdresser, social worker - occupy the ground floor. There is also a medical department able to accept 20 patients at a time. On the first floor, the angle made by the long blocks accommodates a triangular glass-roofed atrium, off which are a restaurant and a lounge. All these facilities have earned the complex a pivotal role in the neighbourhood.
