This tiny exhibition pavilion was designed by visual artist Stanley Brouwn, assisted on technical matters and execution by Bertus Mulder, best known for his restoration of Rietveld's Schröder house. The pavilion is a perfect sculpture, a cross formed by two whiter-than-white prisms that cantilever spectacularly unaided by columns. Each prism consists of seven linked cubic modules each with two pairs of opposing square glass openings. A steel spiral stair marks the place where the two prisms intersect. Inside, the prisms are largely left open, their four extremities providing long narrow exhibition spaces.
