This cinema stands on a triangular site, its open corner containing the entrance downstairs and foyer upstairs, both facing onto Stationstraat. The oval auditorium sits at right angles to the closed rear facade. A stair between the auditorium and the entrance/foyer assimilates the two principal directions. The sculptural potential of concrete has here been exploited to the full, as much in the rounded principal forms as in the details.
