This town hall has its offices on Geleenstraat and the civic and ceremonial part overlooking the higher-lying square (Raadhuisplein). The offices are grouped around a hall with a glass-capped void. In the public portion with its mushroom columns with rounded heads, an exceedingly broad staircase leads up to the council chamber and civic hall. Facades based on the Golden Section are clad in cut stone. The short side of the civic hall is accentuated by a group of classical columns.
