Parksluizen

Near the Parksluizen a pumping station was built at Coolhaven in 1968. The pump unit and service rooms occupy a cylindrical volume. The rectangular live-in unit is lifted into space so that the valves in the underground pressure pipes can always be got at for maintenance and repairs. All outer walls are of untreated reinforced concrete.
