This crematorium is configured as an arcaded courtyard. At its centre is a tall, fully glazed chapel with a sturdy untreated timber supporting structure. An almost festive space, it acquires its contemplative air from the tranquil outlook over the gravel garden and surrounding wall. All remaining components are ranged along this wall. Though its brick outer face is mute, a glass roof with a truss construction delivers light into these spaces as well. There are reception areas on the east and west sides. Along the north side is the columbarium, with the cremators and technical services on the south side.
