Set in what were once docklands is this pair of mixed-use buildings, a lowrise block of workshops and five storeys of offices, with a lobby serving both. The turrets of the office block are in themselves an urban landmark. Both buildings are timber-clad, the highrise vertically, the lowrise horizontally. Fenestration is carefully placed and set flush into the facade. The design subordinates the individuality of the hirer to the collective nature of the ensemble.
