BUILDING TYPE:
Buildings for education

In this school, the various spaces are ranged along a lengthy double-height corridor of changing width and variously serving as space for exhibitions, study, encounter and for those lunching at school. The building consists of a staff wing above the road, a caretaker's residence, a central double-height assembly hall, a row of practical classrooms and at the far end a gymnasium. The theory side is concentrated in the high-rise portion. Each function has its own architectural expression in terms of spatial form, facade and construction.
