Closing off https://www.architectureguide.nl/project/item/prj_id/219" class="inline_link">Schouwburgplein on one side, this 'housing dock' comprises a ground floor of shops, restaurants and cafés, one storey of offices and six of apartments. The whole is supported by a frame of concrete piers. The corridor access and floor plans of the apartments derive from Le Corbusier's Unité d'Habitation. The building's composition is best expressed in the head elevations.
