Here, a number of old housing blocks have been replaced to create a new enclosed square combining a public zone and a slightly raised enclosure with locking gate above a parking facility. An underpass has been assimilated into the scheme as a reminder of the old street pattern. Altogether there are 97 housing units in various blocks which enjoy a unity despite the varied use of materials. The block along Kruiskade has shops on the ground floor.
