There used to be a deer park behind De Doelen concert hall from 1970 to 1981. This site is now occupied by the Plaza, a complex of shopping mall, casino, offices, 100 or so housing units and a basement parking facility. The development along Weena with its arcade is 40 metres tall, the residential portion behind it 65 metres.
