This freestanding house has an oblong basic form, a complex Cubist composition enlivened by the curves of bays and balconies and by an individual use of material, including vertical slate cladding and decorative brickwork. A pergola of brick and wood leads to a freestanding garden pavilion. These days the house is divided into two, with the former underground passage between house and garage sealed off and functioning as an extra entrance.
