This free-form town hall unites the scales and building lines of its neighbours. It consists of a rectangular basement below a rounded dynamic triangular form containing the principal activities of a town hall. The public and ceremonial portion has glass facades printed with a tree motif. The less exposed portions contain offices. A stair winds up from the open floor of public services to the council chamber housed in a volume jutting far out above the entrance. Exposed structural elements such as columns and joists contribute much to the expressive interior.
